Pas besoin d’aller très loin pour constater les dégâts causés par la neige d’hier. Au bout de notre rue, un grand arbre est tombé, bloquant la circulation et écrasant une malheureuse voiture. Partout, des branches et parfois des arbres entiers s’étalent sur les trottoirs et les rues. La mairie a bien du boulot à faire !
You didn’t have to go very far this morning to see the havoc wreaked by yesterday’s unexpected snowfall. At the end of our road, a large tree had fallen, blocking traffic and crushing an unfortunate car. All over town, trees and tree branches are scattered over pavements and roads. The council sure has its work cut out…
Is the red ribbon just in case anybody fails to notice the great big tree in the middle of the road?
