Where I go running / Là où je vais courir

Ça change du bois de Boulogne/Vincennes ! Là où je vais courir, c’est le parc Mont-Royal et les deux cimetières qui le voisine : Notre-Dame-des-Neiges (catholique) et Mont-Royal (protestant et autres dénominations). Ce ne sont pas des cimetières à l’européenne, mais plutôt des étendues énormes de verdure avec un réseau labyrinthique de chemins goudronnés. Pas mal pour la course à pied, en gros. Les photos qui suivent ont été prises quand il y avait plus de neige (et prises à la marche plutôt qu’en courant !). A noter que, pour l’instant, c’est là où Rich court. Julie, quant à elle, apprécie d'y marcher.

Where I go running is the Parc Mont-Royal and its two neighbouring cemeteries: Notre-Dame-des-Neiges (catholic) and Mont-Royal (protestant and other denominations). We’re not talking about European-scale cemeteries here, but huge expanses of greenery lined with a network of surfaced roads. Pretty great running terrain, in other words. These photos were taken when there was quite a lot more snow (and not during a run, ‘coz then they’d all be blurry!). Note that the pics show Rich’s stomping ground for running. Julie has, however, enjoyed a nice walk there.
